“Ulven Companies provide innovative engineered solutions, forging, precision machining, and a branded product line within a group of three companies: Skookum, Ulven Forging, and Ulven Aerospace & Precision Solutions.”

Ulven is a parent company with three distinct sub-companies, each operating in a different manufacturing field. They approached me for a full rebrand. This included new logos, branding, and websites for three of those companies, as well as a visual connection to the fourth. My goal was to create a cohesive design system that tied them all together, while still allowing each brand to maintain its unique identity. It was a fun and complex project that pushed me to use the full range of my skills.

I started by designing a new logo for the parent company, incorporating colors from each of the sub-companies into the swoosh element surrounding the name. From there, I developed new logos for Ulven Aerospace and Ulven Forging, using a consistent typeface across all brands but giving each its own distinct color palette.

Once the branding was finalized, I built three brand-new WordPress websites using a shared template. Each site highlighted its specific industry, while maintaining visual consistency to reinforce the connection between them.

Lastly, I styled the homepage of the fourth company’s existing Shopify site to visually align with the new WordPress sites, completing the unified brand experience across all four businesses.
